FUNK ZONE MIXED-USE

We are working in partnership with Mesa Lane Partners to transform a historic property, located in the coveted downtown waterfront area of Santa Barbara, into a vibrant, adaptive re-use development for an Artist's Village. The space includes mixed-income multifamily housing as well as spaces for retail, a restaurant, a cafe, and artist's studios.

This project is truly changing the community, as it contributes a viable solution to Santa Barbara’s affordable housing crisis. It's designed to contribute to the community’s car free, walkable environment and atmosphere. Upon completion, this high-profile development will provide Santa Barbara with 125 for-rent, affordable-by-design apartments, over 50,000 square feet of new commercial space, and workshop & studio spaces for the local arts community.
