The Commons at Santa Ynez Valley is designed as an immersive food, wine and artisan retail destination located in the heart of Santa Barbara County’s world famous wine region, the Santa Ynez Valley. The development will include more than 50,000 square feet of thoughtfully designed commercial space, encompassing nearly 5 acres of formerly undeveloped grazing lands. Centrally located in the valley, The Commons boasts magnificent, unfettered views of the area’s picturesque countryside with its rolling hills, majestic oaks and a beautiful turn-of-the-century barn that will become one of the visual focal points of the development.
The Commons is designed with both the local population and visitor community in mind. The development is expected to be home to more than thirty-five select merchants, including eighteen tasting rooms offering craft wines, beers, and spirits; fifteen public market vendors offering locally sourced food products and artisan retail; and four innovative and unique dining concepts. The development is designed as three distinct social districts, which include a large-scale public market district, a vibrant and high-energy main street district and an open-space, rural parks district.
